Rational RobotJ

Released in May 2002, RobotJ focuses on automating the testing of Java and HTML applications. Creating a script through its recorder generates Java source code that utilizes the special classes created by Rational Software. Scripts may then be played back on Microsoft Windows or Red Hat Linux operating systems. By relying on the Java programming language, Rational has kept the door wide open for testers that want to go beyond simple scripts and make use of those utilities that are available to all Java developers.
